Stamford Republican Town Committee

The next regular meeting of the Stamford Republican Town Committee will be held Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 at 7:30PM in the Senior Center, 2nd floor.

Message From the Chairman

I would like to welcome you to the NEW Republican Party!

The NEW means, simply, that we are ALL going to work together, that we ALL need to work together and that we ALL, will strive, together, to build up our Republican Party!

We have new leadership and many new RTC faces, and I am excited about us ALL coming together to energize our Party, by bringing fresh ideas and energy to our meetings.

Please visit this site periodically to keep informed of RTC Monthly Meetings, where we will be discussing the upcoming Elections in November, as well as what is happening in our City. Each month, we will be hearing from our Republican Elected and Appointed Officials, to keep us well informed, as well as discussing, all of us together, how to move our City forward. Our discussions about being fiscally responsible to the taxpayers, while providing excellent education to our children, providing health and safety services for our residents and understanding planning and zoning issues are paramount for Stamford to continue to be the great City that it is and for Stamford to move forward, with us leading the way.

This June we will be starting the selection process for the November elections. There are three seats up on the Board of Finance, three for the Board of Education, six seats on the Board of Representatives, as well as Constable seats. To be able to be considered a candidate, you must come to the June and July RTC Meetings.

So, come and be a part a the NEW Republican Party, come to our Meetings and enjoy our Events

We will have Speakers to update us on the Board of Finance, Board of Ed and Board of Reps as well as a few other Boards. Our State Representatives will also give us a brief overview of our current state of CT.

We will also be discussing Candidates for the Board of Finance (3), Board of Ed (3) and Board of Reps (6) seats, as well as Constable seats for the upcoming November Election. Endorsements are late July. If you are considering running for any of these seats, you MUST be in attendance.

Any questions, please fell free to call me at 203-588-1480.
Jerry Pia, RTC Chair
